Terms of Service

General Terms:

Setup Time: Setup time is not included in the shoot duration. The shoot time starts from the first shot taken.

Creative Input: Any examples or inspiration must be communicated at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled shoot. Creative input during the shoot is encouraged.

Travel Fees: For distances traveled beyond 15km from Bentleigh East, a fee of $1 per additional km of travel will be charged (return trip). For interstate or international travel, the cost of transport and accommodation (if required) will be charged.

Credit for Content: Please do not credit for unedited or raw content unless specified.

Rescheduling: Both the client and myself must communicate any need to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. Late rescheduling may incur additional fees.

Late Payment: A 10% interest per month is charged on overdue invoices unless other terms are agreed upon.

Copyright Law: Payment must be made before publicly sharing content; non-payment leads to revoked usage rights. Usage rights begin only after full payment of the invoice (unless discussed with packages).

Post-Production Responsibility: I am not responsible for any post-production alterations or how images/videos are used by clients or third parties.

Packages

Payment Terms: Payment is required upfront before the commencement of services.

Explanation of 'Up to’: The term 'up to' means that the number of edited reels and images provided will not exceed the stated amount per fortnight but may vary based on the shoot and content requirements. The number of pieces of content filmed within the shoot duration is dependent on the client's planning and organisation. If the package includes 4 edited reels but only 3 can be filmed due to time constraints, this is the client's responsibility. However, leniency will be provided in cases where general mistakes by the client or errors on my part affect the shoot.

Content Prioritisation: Clients may choose to prioritise either pictures or videos during a shoot. A reasonable equivalent in terms of the number of pieces of content will be decided upon to ensure the best use of the shoot duration and edited content. Simple long-form content may also be included in Basic and Standard packages if the edit is simple enough. I.e. uncut solo podcast with colour grade (which is then cut up into short form pieces).

Explanation of ‘Complex Edited Long Form’: Refers to highly edited videos exceeding 90 media social media clips. I.e. vlogs or informative videos.

Daily WhatsApp Support: Daily WhatsApp support (Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm) includes responses to queries and minor adjustments to content. While I strive to respond promptly, please allow up to 24 hours for a response. Although unlikely, extensive changes or additional content requests may require a scheduled consultation or additional fees.

Client Responsibilities: Clients must provide high-quality, relevant and clear editing instructions and come to shoots prepared with all necessary material.

Edits: Each reel or image includes up to 2 revisions. Additional revisions may incur extra charges. However, initial discussion with client to establish an edit style is included exclusive of revisions.

Turnaround Time: The turnaround time for delivering all edited content is up to 14 business days from the date of shoot. By default, edits are prioritised based on submission order and complexity.

Unlimited Edited Reels and Images: Unlimited edited reels and images apply only to content filmed during the scheduled shoots included in the package. However, producing unlimited variations of the same filmed content is not included.

Cancellation by Either Party: Both the Client and Bouz Creative reserve the right to cancel services at any time, for any reason. Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or through other agreed-upon communication methods. If the Client cancels services mid-month, the full monthly fee remains payable. No refunds or pro-rata adjustments will be provided for unused services, as resources and time are allocated in advance. If Bouz Creative cancels services mid-month, the Client will be eligible for a pro-rata refund for any work not yet completed. A detailed breakdown of the completed work and corresponding fees will be provided.

Delivery of Assets

Raw Assets: Raw assets can be transferred at no extra cost on the day of the shoot only if an SSD with sufficient storage is provided. Otherwise, raw footage will not be uploaded to online cloud storage.

Final Assets: Final assets will be available to download from Google Drive for 8 weeks after upload. A reminder will be sent one week prior to termination of access. Clients are responsible for their own backups.

Revisions and Approval: All revisions must be requested within 7 days of delivery. Additional revisions beyond the included two per reel/image will be charged at an hourly rate.

One-Off Shoots & Express Shoots

Minimum Fee: The minimum fee for a shoot is 1 hour ($100). Any shoots shorter than 1 hour will still be charged the same amount.

Express Shoot Payment: Payment is split into two parts:
A. 50% Deposit: Reserve shoot with a $74.50 deposit
B. Post-shoot: Pay the excess $74.50 after the shoot is complete.

Timeline for Delivery: The timeline for delivery of edited footage/photos is specified in the estimation unless otherwise communicated. This timeline is a guideline and may be impacted by revisions and other factors. If an estimation is not provided, expect up to a fortnight for edited assets to be returned.
